    Good

The front desk staff were very helpful and tried hard to please. The hotel location although quite close to what appears to be a very busy school is not very far from the main attractions of Rome. The Spanish steps can be comfortably reached in 20 mins(or less) and the Tivoli fountain in not much more. We easily reached the Pantheon without realising how long we had been walking.

The hotel on first arrival does appear somewhat austere and not very welcoming. In most cases we had no problems until our last morning when we made the mistake of arriving for breakfast at a very busy time(Saturday). The few staff (increased from one to three, that day) had real problems coping with the approx.dozen tables in the breakfast room. There were no plates/dishes/cutlery and very little drink or food available.when one of the waitresses did come out instead of replenishing the food/crockery she decided to clear a recently vacated table. Do not go for breakfasr when it is busy !!!

    It was a central location

Surly staff, dirty rooms, pitiful food, old smelly pillows. I could go on... unfortunately they were the only plqce that could accomodate my family of 5 it's no wonder why.

    Good

The hotel staff was excellent. They were accommodating, made excellent restaurant recommendations, were very helpful regarding ways to get around and checked availability for us. They were knowledgable and breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. It was convenient to a local food store for packing lunches during tours and was fairly conveniently located to main attractions.

We did not have air conditioning for two nights. They offered a small discount for the first night but not the second night. It was very hot and made sleeping after a long, busy, hot day almost impossible. The fold out couch literally swallowed you up at night and was uncomfortable. You had to climb out of it in the morning. There was no hot water, only luke warm which was okay since it was so hot out. Perhaps during a time other than summer, it would be okay.

Good size of room. Clean. Good parking.

Too simple breakfast, would have liked ham, cheese, eggs etc.

A practical hotel with a small suite sutiable for family of four. Good location and good value for a city centre hotel.

    Very good

The reception staff were amazing! They let me check in early, which helped alot. This gave us a chance to do some early sightseeing of the city. Very helpful answering all my questions and even called me a cab to visit the Colosseum when asked. Everytime with a smile. From the first day we arrived till the last. Can't complain.

Breakfast should be better. Juices weren't labeled and could be confusing to know which is which. Didn't know if it was fruit, tomato, carrot, pinneaple or orange. We had to taste from each one to find out. No eggs, bacon, cheese or hams,No fresh fruits, only canned. Only breads, pastries, crackers, yogurt, nutella & jams and muffins. Coffee and Cappuchino were also available. Cappuchino only on request. I believe a good day should start with a well balanced breakfast and this for me wasn'T.

The breakfast buffet was very nice. I'm just sorry we missed it on our departure day because we left too early.

    The beds were just ok

    Superb

The hotel was much nicer than I expected. All of the men that worked the front desk were extremely nice and very helpful. I was very impressed at the level of service. Our room was huge (we had four people staying in one room). There was a separate bedroom and then a fold out double bed in the living room. There was also a small dining table and a very small kitchen (sink with two hot plates). The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans. The bathroom was very nice as well. The location of the hotel was in a very nice part of town. One street down from us we walked by numerous high end hotels, including the Westin! The breakfast was very good with as many cappuccinos as you want :)

I wish it was closer to a metro stop. About 10 minute walk. We also had a problem with our water temperature in the shower. It wouldn't get hot. We told the hotel of the problem and they spent several hours fixing it. It worked for a little while, but then was cold again. We had a few cold showers, but they refunded us 100 euro at the end (each night we paid 150, so that was pretty good).
